Ripple, via SCTC, will perform mint and burn operations to manage the supply of the stablecoin. The stablecoin will be made available to Direct Customers (exchanges, market makers and other onboarded institutional customers). Indirect Customers (retail users) will be able to trade and acquire the stablecoin on exchanges and other Ripple Direct Customers, but they will not be able to obtain Ripple USD directly from Ripple.
