The UCITS Directive requires segregation of assets to protect investors and ensure fund assets can be identified at any time. Financial instruments must be registered in segregated accounts in the name of the UCITS. UCITS assets must be separated from the assets of the depositary.

Spiko US T-Bills Money Market Fund is a short-term variable net asset value money market fund (short-term VNAV MMF) under EU law and a sub-fund of the Spiko SICAV. The Fund invests 100% of its total assets in U.S. Treasury Bills (T-Bills), repurchase agreements secured by such securities and cash.The Fund keeps an average maturity of its portfolio under 60 days. The maximum maturity of any asset held by the Fund is less than 6 months. The cash holdings cannot exceed 10% of its total assets.

To redeem their shares, investors make an on-chain transfer to a redemption smart contract. The Spiko platform UI abstracts this on-chain transfer for investors who want to. Redemption orders must be received prior to the daily cutoff time (10:30 AM CET each business day) in order to be executed on the same day. Redemption orders received after the daily cutoff time are executed on the next business day.

To subscribe to USTBL, investors must first complete onboarding/KYC with Spiko Finance. Once approved, investors are provided with USD or USDC funding instructions via the Spiko platform UI. Upon receipt of funds on the Fund bank account at the custodian, USTBL are minted to the wallet address provided during the subscription process and on the requested network/chain. Funds must be received prior to the daily cutoff time (10:30 AM CET each business day) in order to be minted the same day. Newly minted tokens do not have a lock-up period.

The Fund is broadcasting its net asset value and total assets under management on each business to all major financial data providers (Bloomberg, Morningstar, etc.) as well as to its supervisory authority.
